LI Ju chuan was born in Sha Shi city, Hu Bei province, China, in 1964. Now he lives and works in Wu Han city. He is the visiting professor of NanJingUniversity, Professor, Graduate School of Architecture, NanjingUniversity. Since 1994 he has been applying himself to the architectural practice, which utilizes the form of performance, photo, and video. He has executed a series of projects in public places of city. In 1994, he won a third place in the Shinkenchiku residential design competition in Japan. Since 2002 he has presided over a studio program with the theme “body and architecture” in the Graduate School of Architecture of the NanjingUniversity.
